Sympathy points for the nations with the same party as you often go up every few turn while nation with different party as you often go down. There are other pretty cool things like government parties e.g. That was a example of how good the AI diplomacy was. The coalition broke after Prussia was defeated. Prussia soon lost their capital and was defeated from the campaign. Sweden had a pretty large army and forced Prussia down to it’s capital.
Suddenly Sweaden joined the war aginst Prussia and I got a message that says something like “Spain had paid a tribute to Sweden to join our coalition, Sweden is now part of your alliance”. Austria leaved the coalition and the sympathy point between prussia and austria went down and soon prussia launched war at austria and soon defeated austria. Russia realised they could win so they leaved the prussia coalition and ceased fire with our coalition under the agreement of offering us a tribute of gold. France were defeated because spain and portugal pushed east, i defeated demark because they were to busy going down to help france they didn't have enough to guard their own land. The war lasted a long time and we all got heavy losses. so like we were pushing east and they were trying the push west. It pretty cool because me, spain and portugal were on the west and prussia, russia, austria etc were on the east. when another nation is in your coalition we all have trage rights, millitary access.
We seems out numbered but not for long about 2 turns later Portugal joined in my team and i got a message that says like" Portugal allies of Spain have joined in the coalition they are now your alliance" my sympathy point with portugal wasn't high before but when spain persuade Portugal to join, my points with Portugal went up to 78 from like 45. The next turn nations like demark and Austria joined the Prussia team against me and spain because rather they have high sympathy point with one of the nations against me or one of prussia or the people against me persuade them you join their coalition. For example when playing as England, prussia started a war with me, Prussia made a coalition with Russia and France against me so Prussia, france and Russia went at war with me, but i had a high sympathy with spain around 80 so when they declare war on me spain joined the war and we formed a coalition against Prussia's coalition( my point with spain went from 80 to like 89). you can often like divide the all nations in two teams. when your doing something that is upseting another nation you can see your point with that fraction go down and so you will know if a nation is going to launch war at you. The higher the sympathy point you have the better your relations. the max points is 100, when you are at war your sympathy point with that nation will be about 0 to 5. For example when i was playing as England if i ask for example alliance with spain the sympathy will go from like 50 to 55. But the diplomacy is really good, you have this system that have sympathy points. anyways in the grand campaign its just like TW you have to conquer europe, build buildings, train units etc just like TW. you control hodes of troops just like TW. The game is just like a TW game but in the Napoleonic times, you can play a custom battle, historic battle or a grand campaign. Imperial Glory is just like a TW game (i wonder if the developers from that game copied the TW idea). Have anyone here ever played a game called "Imperial Glory"? well i have and the other people who played the game will all say that the Al diplomacy rocks in that game.
